Cedric van der Gun (born 5 May 1979 in Den Haag) is a Dutch football Winger who is currently a free agent after being released by Swansea City in June 2011.
Van der Gun started his career at AFC Ajax. He was loaned to Willem II.[1] He then played for ADO Den Haag[2] before being signed by Borussia Dortmund.[3] After a season with unlucky injury problems at the German side, he returned to the Netherlands for FC Utrecht.[4] In September 2009 he signed a one year contract with Swansea City with a 12 month extension option,[5] this is his first period in the United Kingdom.[6] He scored his first goal for the Swans against Scunthorpe United on 31 October 2009.[7] He was released by Swansea City at the end of the 2010–11 season, following Swansea's promotion to the Premier League.
